ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for dancers to take on the role of Keys in the HyperSpace team in Dubai. HyperSpace places today in the tomorrow and is on a mission to expand person-driven entertainment to the next level by bringing together real-life experiences with the advantages of tech and digital innovations. AYA is a 40,000 sqft immersive experience which will be one of HyperSpace’s first exciting new venues.
Keys are essential performative roles that shape the visitor experience of AYA. Their performance and storytelling will breathe life into the experience and take visitors throughout this dreamscape. Keys will have the responsibility to leave a lasting impression on all guests as they transcend boundaries of theatre and performance within the essence of AYA - from tides, and dancing in Celestia, to smashing blackholes in the outland.
Job Overview
Engage visitors and help usher them through the AYA portals.
Complete a 30-minute round trip “performance” through AYA zones on a loop.
Dancing and playing with the installations.
Interact with both the installations and visitors in each zone of the park, ensuring to demonstrate of the features of each room.
Flex the performance as required to ensure that all visitors have an opportunity to see the full experience.
Uphold Park health and safety requirements at all times.
They are the living “demo” and subtle character layer of the entirety of AYA by committing to our world, they bring guests along with them into the dream.
The performance is not rigid. There is no dialogue. They laugh, play, and interact with guests as needed.
Working as part of a team to deliver immersive group performances.
Comprehensive overview of the role and its requirements:
Dance Proficiency: The dancers should possess a foundational grasp of both contemporary and modern dance routines.
Physical Fitness: The role demands a high level of physical fitness, as dancers will engage in regular rehearsals, learn choreography from an off-site choreographer on a monthly basis, and participate in mandatory fitness classes as part of their role.
Solo and Group Performance: Candidate will be expected to excel both individually and within group performances.
Mobility Requirement: Candidates should be prepared to travel to various locations in Dubai for training, choreography sessions, and fitness classes.
Working Schedule: The role follows a 5/7-day schedule, including weekends and public holidays, on a rotating basis.
Team Collaboration: A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and the ability to enhance guest experiences.
Contract Terms: Successful candidates will be offered 12-month contracts with a three-month probationary period.
