About the role
The Dedicated Transport Manager is responsible for managing transportation needs for our clients' events in France and abroad. Be the dedicated contact point for the client and his team. Ensuring the link between the client and the different actors (internal or external) of the project.
Key Responsibilities
Attend some of the meetings with the client’s team (briefing, location scouting, follow-up meetings, debriefing...)
Accompany and advise the client
Answer the client’s questions and provide him any requested details
Inform the client and follow up with the event progress
Place, confirm, update and manage the services bookings (in our operating system)
Supervise the chauffeurs and cars allocations, and provide them to the client and teams
Supervise the team (coordinators, chauffeurs....) briefing and/or training
Supervise and participate to, when needed, the onsite coordination
Provide the team with useful documents, tools..
Supervise the onsite coordination team (internal and external people)
Control and report the daily services charges
Participate in debriefing, including the post-production REX
Candidate Requirements
Knowledge
English speaking (+ French and/or another language would be a plus)
Proven international experience of at least 3 years in event transportation
Soft Skills
High mobility, involving availability, flexibility, and adaptability
Leadership and a strong sense of team and project management
Taste for challenge, and very good management of stress and difficulties
Excellent ability to structure, coordinate, supervise, delegate, and make decisions
Rigor, method, organization, and management of priorities
Technical Skills
Onsite transportation management skills
Strong sales/negotiation skills, ability to propose and find solutions
Relational skills (oral and written) and a taste for customer contact
Ability to use computer tools
