About the role
The Country Manager, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (CM-KSA) leads The BLR Group entity (BLR-KSA) established in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its entirety. The CM-KSA is responsible for the overall performance of the business within the country, including sales and business development, marketing and communications, operations, finance and administration, as well as overseeing the successful delivery of multiple live projects. The CM-KSA reports to the General Manager, Global Businesses (GM-GB) and works closely with the executives of The BLR Group and wider senior management teams to develop and execute a growth strategy within the KSA market and ensure that BLR-KSA is meeting its business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of BLR-KSA day-to-day operations, including marketing, business strategy, sales and business development, project management, Human Resources, finance and administration
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key local stakeholders, including customers, partners, and government agencies
Oversee the development and implementation of processes to ensure efficient and effective company operations
Develop and implement business strategies that align with the overall goals and objectives of The BLR Group
Lead, motivate and manage teams of professionals to achieve business goals
Manage budgets and finances of BLR-KSA, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently
Represent the company by serving as the face of BLR-KSA in a positive and professional manner
Build a positive image and reputation for BLR-KSA
Actively contribute to continuous improvements of project management processes and methodologies
Oversee all local staff, including Project Managers, and provide them with the required support and guidance
Candidate Requirements
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to make informed business decisions
Start-up experience would be beneficial
Growing / developing business in an entrepreneurial environment
Business Management and Client and/or Team Management experience
Sector experience to include Culture, Events, Hospitality, Leisure or Tourism
Some exposure to HR, Recruitment, Training or Operations desired
Arabic speaking preferred
KSA National preferred (if not, then most know the Kingdom well)
Additional wider GCC / international experience would also be beneficial
