ABOUT THE ROLE

The QA/QC Manager is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality and safety of products, processes, and services within the organization. They will perform inspections, implement quality control measures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The QA/QC Manager oversees quality assurance and control activities, implements procedures, conducts inspections, ensures compliance, identifies improvements, and collaborates with teams for high-quality standards.

  • Conduct regular inspections and tests of raw materials, components, and finished products to assess quality and identify defects or deviations from standards.

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and processes to improve product consistency and reliability.

  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to established quality standards.

  • Develop and maintain quality assurance policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Participate in the development and review of product specifications and requirements.

  • Establish and maintain quality metrics to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and quality management systems (ISO, FDA, etc.).

  • Communicate quality-related issues, updates, and improvement initiatives to relevant stakeholders.

  • Analyze quality data and trends to recommend corrective actions and prevent recurrence of issues.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working in GCC / Middle East is essential.

  • 5+ years’ credible experience in health and safety, including operations experience

  • Track record of project management

  • Arabic speaking highly advantageous

  • Ability to communicate to a high standard with clients, public, contractors, and staff both within and outside of the business.

  • Deep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines

  • Knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment

  • Attention to detail and observation ability
