Barker Langham Recruitment provides innovative “people” services for iconic museums and cultural institutions globally, spanning governance, organisational design, recruitment, training and employee experience strategies. We are currently working on some very exciting and unique emerging projects in the Middle East and we are looking for two paid Interns to join our team!
This is an outstanding opportunity for Interns to interact with our Directors, Project Leaders and Expert Consultants who are all open to sharing their diverse experiences and knowledge within the international cultural and creative industries.
Internship Overview
As a Research Intern, you will assist our Creative Consultant with research activities for a range of exciting emerging projects in the Middle East.
Key responsibilities will include conducting quantitative and qualitative benchmarking research of best practice globally relating to governance, organisational design, recruitment and training. You will work collaboratively with our Creative Consultant and wider consultancy teams to interpret the research for Situational Analysis reports, with the opportunity to also get involved with strategy development to support live project deliverables including Business and Operational Plans for our clients.
The ideal candidate will be able to work full-time 5 days per week Monday - Friday, with an immediate start until March 2022. You will be interested to learn about the emerging arts and culture scene in the Middle East, have the ability to work autonomously whilst paying attention to detail, and be studying towards an HR, Business or related qualification. Arabic written and/or verbal skills are highly advantageous.
Location
This is a remote internship, however the ideal candidate will be based in London, as you will be working closely with our London-based Creative Consultant, with the opportunity to meet in our London office on occasion.
